Chaplain’s Conversations

Description
Discover more about the people of the University. In conversation with the Chaplain, Donald MacEwan, these key figures will explore their path to the university, what inspires them in their research, and their thoughts about the future of education. At this event, Donald will be talking to Professor Derek Woollins, Vice-Principal (Research), who assumes responsibility for all research activities within the university. An inorganic chemist, he studies the synthesis of selenium and tellurium rich molecules for applications as diverse as health and electronics. 'Woollins’ Reagent', which is used to incorporate selenium into organic molecules, is named after him.
