Research Excellence Framework's (REF) Assessment of Impact: Questions, Challenges and Opportunities

Video presentations from a two-day workshop devoted to exploring how social science research will be seen in light of REF's notion of impact. Because the outcomes of research in many social sciences and the arts are not readily or easily articulated, researchers need to find better ways of facilitating knowledge transfer. The video presentations explore not only how to better communicate research findings and to formulate relevant critiques, but they also suggest ways to capture and create opportunities to reinvigorate research and its applications in light of the growing 'culture of impact'. Held at St Andrews on 5th and 6th November 2012.
